CIE is one of the earliest design units that own right to do business with foreign companies. Since the end of 1970s, when CIE took part in the construction of Baosteel Group, it has made technical cooperation and communications with foreign firms, and accumulates experience on international cooperation and on international engineering project management. In these 10 years, CIE not only has undertaken design for projects in China that were invested by foreign companies, or the joint design for projects whose technologies were imported from overseas, but also has taken part in the international competition. Based on technical strength, excellent service and good credit, CIE has undertaken engineering design, consulting and EPC projects in more than 10 countries such as Bengal, Peru, Saudi Arabia, Brazil, India, Japan and Australia.
