CIE is the member unit of China Metallurgic Group Corp, and is one of the turnkey project contractors of engineering construction with leading advantages in the world metallurgical engineering construction fields.
CIE has succeeded all mainlines and qualifications of Changsha Metallurgy Design Institute and accumulated 50-year experiences on research and development, engineering consulting and design, EPC and project management. Now through innovation, improvement and development, CIE has become the high-and-new technology enterprise whose mainlines are metallurgy, environmental protection, municipal and civil works EPC, and the sidelines are equipment manufacturing and complete set, resources development and real estate.
CIE sticks to the quality guideline of ¡°innovation based on science, keeping improving and supply service on engineering construction to meet the requirements of customers¡±, and has supplied service to more than 1000 engineering construction in China in past years. CIE has won more than 300 various national and ministerial prizes, among which there are 4 national golden prizes, 9 silver prizes and 4 bronze prizes. CIE has implemented the turnkey contract of design in the large-scale engineering construction in the metallurgy industry, and accumulated abundant experience on project management. It possesses the turnkey contract capacity on engineering contract in different industries and ways. Especially, the mainlines of company ¨C sintering, pellet engineering EPC are famous in the world. In 2006, in the order of top 100 for turnover of China Engineering Turnkey Contract Enterprises, CIE is No. 21.
CIE has been awarded the right to operate its business directly with the foreign entities. It has carried out technical cooperation and exchanges with more than 20 countries such as the USA, Germany, Japan, Sweden, Brazil and India etc., and it has established long-term friend relationships with them, and it has undertaken more than 10 overseas engineering designs and turnkey projects such as Brazil, India, Saudi Arabia, Indonesia and Japan.
The company now has a staff more than 600, and has high-quality engineering technical personnel and group of management personnel with professional matched and reasonable structure; has set up an incorporate management system on quality management, environment management and professional healthy and safety management; and has won the title of ¡°National Credit-keeping Enterprise¡± by State Administration for Industry and Commerce, and ¡°AAA¡± Credit Grade by state depts. in charge.
